Main focus of ySystem is location-based services, known under abbreviation LBS. This set of services enables its users to carry out certain actions based on location of particular information device. ySystem is a relatively rapidly growing company, and this fresh vibe helps us with establishment on a market that constantly experience hefty changes. With progress of time - in joint effort with Slovak company YMS, a.s. (Inc.) - we realized that only way to growth would be through expansion on foreign markets. First business moves were carried out in Dubai in 2003, and later in Germany during year of 2006, where ySystem firstly set up dealerships and later established a separate branch. Brief history
Czech-based company ySystem was until 2010 a member of the YMS Group, group of independent companies formerly known as the alliance YMS/GCWare. Why GCWare? On the very beginning – since 1998 - this company was operating under the name GCWare, spol. s r.o. (Ltd.) on mostly EU markets. In 2003 - along with Slovak company YMS, a.s. (Inc.) – company set up the Dubai branch that has won several prestigious clients and now operates independently from its previous owners.
Due to the fast and serious changes on market and for concentration of resources and know-how, ySystem – at that time operating under name YMS Czech Republic, spol. s r.o. (Ltd.) - has legally separated its activities from YMS Group with entry of foreign investors. It also confirmed focus on progressive segment of the location-based services (LBS), which generally allow users to plan, control and manage mobile resources based on location information of mobile devices. Along with new profiling the company was also renamed to ySystem, spol. s r. o. (Ltd.).
